Report: Joshua Cribbs Down to Cardinals and Patriots

Finally, the New England Patriots have some news at the very end of the day. This report comes from Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, he says that it’s down to the Cardinals and Patriots. This is defintely something Patriots fans are split on, some like Cribbs and others not so much. But regardless whether you like him or not, Patriots need depth at the Wide Receiver position and as of right now their very thin at their most important position.

We should hear some news on this very soon, possibly not long after this article is posted. The majority of people think this is a no brainer because who would go to Arizona over New England? That is a very compelling argument but none of really know how Cribbs feels about both teams except for him. This is one of the bigger names the Patriots are going after and they can’t afford to miss on a lot of them either. Cribbs can potentially help out the Patriots on special teams and will defintely replace Deion Branch who really isn’t a option anymore and is very ineffective.

I’m not specifically sold on him as a valuable option as a wide receiver but he’ll be a very nice upgrade for the Patriots in the return game. This shall be very interesting to see where he ends up landing. I’m torn on where he ends up, but my feeling is we’re going to find out very very soon.
