Report: Danny Amendola down to 2 teams, but who?

As news came about that the New England Patriots and Wes Welker were done talking, people assumed Danny Amendola would be pursued rather quickly but will that be the case? It’s looking like he’s starting to narrow down his list and taking visits. This is starting to sound a whole lot like the recruiting process in College Football, bizarre. It hasn’t been stated by @ProFootballTalk who the two teams are at all yet but they say they’ll be posting all night and hopefully some clarification soon. I don’t believe it will be the Patriots, yet. I think the Patriots may become a serious player for Amendola but not right now.

Chris Wesseling, who is a writer for says that “that Baltimore “holds some interest” in Danny Amendola. Titans, Vikings also reported to be interested.” This is the only writer that as of now has listed teams that may be in play for Amendola’s services. I’m not shocked that nobody has listed the Patriots as someone who might be interested or are interested. They will be sooner rather than later, especially if Wes Welker ends up somewhere else. They’ll still probably pursue Amendola, even if they do indeed sign Joshua Cribbs because he’s not a great wide receiver compared to others. This is definitely going to get crazy real soon regarding Patriots news, as they’ve been fairly quiet as no surprise.
