According to Gill Brandt of NFL.com, Marquess Wilson and Jeff Tuel will have private workouts with the New England Patriots on March 22nd. This doesn’t come as a surprise due to the fact that they workout tons of players but this is intriguing because while Wilson will drop in the draft due to his awful exit at Washington State, that may allow the Patriots to draft him. That is, If the Patriots are really that interested in him.

Expect some more news about private workouts to heat up with the draft getting closer and free agency starting today.

Jeff Tuel: is a guy who will be a 7th round pick or go un-drafted but is drawing some interest from NFL teams, he’s definitely someone I’d keep my eye out for. His official 40 time was clocked at 4.6 and was very impressive throwing the football at his pro day. Some NFL Scouts told Tuel that he really only needed to see him make one throw.

Tuel could surprise. He was pretty damned good in college, in spite of having one of the worst OL’s in all of D 1 for his last three years.
