New England Patriots: Karlos Dansby Cut by Dolphins

This doesn’t come as a surprise at all. The Dolphins wanted to get younger at the linebacker postion, which is why this comes as no surprise. There are rumors that the Patriots may go after Dansby. This is a surprise to some and maybe not to other because back in 2012 the Patriots were very interested in him. That’s interesting but the only difference is the fact that this was before the Patriots now have Donta’ Hightower and Brandon Spikes. Dansby is a very productive player, but he will definitely draw some interest from at least a few NFL teams.

I don’t necessarily see the Patriots going after him, but if they feel he can make a impact on this team they’ll definitely make an offer. Another thing is the fact that the Patriots have made literally no moves at all. This is typically normal, they keep quiet before the storm and surprise quite a few people. I definitely can see them making a couple moves very soon, just not sure If i can say they’ll be huge moves or not. One player you can assure is gone may be Sebastian Vollmer, It’s been pretty quiet on his ability to be back in New England next season. It would be a shock if he’s back with the Patriots next season.
