Mike Wallace to the Miami Dolphins

The AFC East suddenly got a little more competitive! Well…at least between the Patriots and Dolphins. Miami has officially signed WR Mike Wallace to a 5 year, $65 million contract. This signing is on the heels of re-signing their best receiver last season Brain Hartline to a 5 year, $30 million deal. The Dolphins are doing a good job of giving young QB Ryan Tannehill weapons to work with to help him develop. The team is also in play to sign ex-Titans TE Jared Cook to replace Anthony Fasano, who was picked up by the Chiefs. If the Dolphins can pick up a left tackle, their offense will look pretty good going into the 2013 season and they will be the prime contender to steal the Patriots’ AFC East crown. In other AFC East news, the Bills released QB Ryan Fitzpatrick. It will be interesting to see where he ends up; I’m assuming Jacksonville or Arizona.
