Rob Gronkowski practicing again

New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski said he wanted to practice this week, and he did. Gronk is practicing today and is on track to play next week against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Proving that he is one of the toughest players in the NFL, Gronk broke his forearm just a few weeks ago and required surgery on it. The fact that he is practicing right now shows his toughness and dedication, as it is ahead of the timetable.

Jeff Howe (tweet above) doesn’t expect Gronkowski to play this week against the San Francisco 49ers, and I don’t expect Gronk to play either. He’s only practiced once, and his health is more important at this point in time. He was at one point expected to miss the entire regular season, but we can see now that he will play in at least one game (unless if the Patriots decide to rest him against the Jaguars or Miami Dolphins).

Gronkowski has been out with the injury since the 18th of November, so his return is certainly a great sign for both him and the New England Patriots. When he comes back, this Pats offense is going to be more than just scary; they’ll be unstoppable.
