The Indianapolis Colts have just seven players listed on their injury report heading in to tomorrow’s battle against the New England Patriots, but two of those players have already been ruled out. The Pats are expected to rule two or three players out in Logan Mankins, Aaron Hernandez, and possibly Dan Connolly (more could also be inactive), so the Colts are significantly healthier than the Pats. In fact, New England has 20 players on the injury report with 16 questionable and two doubtful. The only other five players listed on the Colts injury report are all probable.
CB Vontae Davis (knee)- The former AFC East nemesis will be missed by Indy, because he’s always been a Pats-killer. Davis has continued to struggle after once being one of the best young CBs in the NFL, but he is much better than the backups. The Colts secondary is banged up, and guys like Brandon Lloyd should have huge days.
TE Coby Fleener (shoulder)- Both he and Davis are expected to return in Week 13
RB Donald Brown (knee)- The best running back on the Colts roster, Brown will once again split carries pretty evenly with subpar rookie RB Vick Ballard. Brown was able to practice on Friday after missing Thursday’s practice, and that was a relief for some Colts fans who were worried about his status.
NT Josh Chapman (knee)
C Samson Satele (back)
T Winston Justice (knee)
LB Robert Mathis (back)
