Buffalo Bills defensive tackles Kyle Williams and Spencer Johnson are expected to play, per the team’s official site. Both players are listed questionable on the team’s injury report with ankle injuries, but the great news is that they are likely going to play. That note is especially huge for the Bills with regards to Williams, who is arguably the best and most dominant DT in the game and is the only Bills DL playing at a high level.
Cornerback Terrence McGee and third safety Da’Norris Searcy are two other key defensive players who are listed questionable on the injury report.
The fact that McGee has been struggling with knee issues all year has really hurt the Bills secondary, because it has forced Aaron Williams to play a greater role on the team. He has been overwhelmed this season and has been even worse than New England Patriots CB Kyle Arrington this year; significantly worse, in fact.
The Tennessee Titans interior of the offensive line is quite abysmal, and Patriots fans saw it first hand when Chris Johnson was shut down by the Pats run defense. Williams and Johnson can help continue to stifle the Titans offense, and Williams can wreak havoc on the Titans backfield. This is a game the Bills should be able to win, and it will be much easier for them with their two DTs playing.
