New York Jets tight end Dustin Keller has been listed as questionable for Week 3’s game against the Miami Dolphins, as he did not practice today. The news comes via Twitter from Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News.
Keller may have had a set back on his hamstring, as he was at least able to practice on Thursday despite being limited. There’s still a shot that Keller can play against the Dolphins, but the fact that he did not practice today is of concern for the Jets.
The Buffalo Bills have received some good news regarding injured running back Fred Jackson, and that is the fact that he has been improving quicker than expected and has “looked fairly fluid”.
The piece notes that it has been 12 days since Jackson sustained his LCL injury and is reportedly ahead of schedule in his recovery. He participated in change-of-direction drills, which is a huge development regarding Jackson’s injury progress.
In injury news regarding the New England Patriots, only Brandon Deaderick, Justin Francis, and Aaron Hernandez have not been practicing for the Pats. Hernandez has also been progressing well in the early going.
Breaking news coming out of the Jets is that Darrelle Revis is listed as probable against the Dolphins and will likely be covering Brian Hartline.
