Miami Dolphins Week 2 Inactives

The Miami Dolphins are set to face off against the Oakland Raiders today, with their opponents making explosive wide receiver Denarius Moore active. Check out the list of Dolphins actives and inactives in this game.

TE Michael Egnew- The rookie out of Missouri is most famously known for the bit on Hard Knocks about how Mike Sherman and the coaches were thoroughly disappointed with his training camp. He is an unsurprising inactive after missing Week 1, but he is not injured. Funny how I mentioned Hard Knocks.

RB Daniel Thomas- Rookie Lamar Miller, who was a healthy scratch in Week 1, will be the No.2 running back behind Reggie Bush for this game with Thomas out with a concussion. Miller is one for the future, but it will be interesting to see what he does in the present. In all honesty, I have never understood why the Dolphins wanted to give Thomas more carries and decreases Bush’s output from last season. Thomas was officially ruled out on Friday. Thomas has improved steadily over the past year and is a quality pass-catcher.

WR Anthony Armstrong- The Dolphins added the solid deep threat off of waivers from the Washington Redskins in an effort to boost their weak wide receiver corps. I haven’t heard any news surrounding the Dolphins and former New England Patriots receivers Donte’ Stallworth and Jabar Gaffney. Armstrong was listed as doubtful on Friday with hamstring issues.

DL Tony McDaniel- The solid defensive lineman has been suffering from a knee injury and is an unsurprising inactive after being ruled out.
