Arizona Cardinals quarterback John Skelton headlines the list of inactives, even though he has been jogging with the team leading up to the 1:00 p.m. ET kick-off at Gillette Stadium. With Skelton being a confirmed inactive, there is no doubt that the New England Patriots will be facing Kevin Kolb. If he performs well enough today, then he could be the starter moving forward.
I honestly think that Kolb is the better quarterback than Skelton, because he is more accurate and has better physical tools. The major problem is his inconsistency and skittishness when under pressure, especially when that pressure is relentless behind the worst pass blocking line in the NFL.
Cornerback Patrick Peterson is, as expected, active for the game and was honestly more “probable” than “questionable”. Brandon Lloyd and Peterson will be battling it out.
The rest of the Cardinals inactives are below.
G Senio Kelemete
T Pat McQuistan
LB Jamaal Westerman
RB William Powell
WR LaRon Bird
TE Jim Dray
The Buffalo Bills have given their list of inactive players leading up to their game against the Kansas City Chiefs, with RB Fred Jackson being the unsurprising headlines on the list. The rest are below.
