Brandon Spikes had to chill on the sideline for the first few days of camp, but today he was able to get out onto the field and get a taste of the action. He participated in all linebacker drills and also was part of 11-on-11s.
Spikes had his knee scoped in the offseason after missing 8 games last year. He is working his way back onto the field now.
“You know it’s kind of frustrating just watching from the sideline,” Spikes told reporters afterward. “Just to get out, run around, and get a little contact, it feels good.” – boston.com
It is a good thing to see him back out on the field.
