Matt Light Retires

The man that protected Tom Brady‘s blindside for so many years formally announced his retirement today at a ceremony in Foxborough, Massachusetts.

Matt Light stood in front of friends and family today at the Hall in Patriots Place and called it a career. If the heart and soul of the New England Patriots is its offensive line, than Light was surely its left ventricle. An all pro tackle, Light helped lead the Patriots to its 3 Superbowl wins in 2001, 2003 & 2004. Here is some news from across the New England Sports world:
