New England Patriots Officially Sign RB Addai

Brian Spurlock-US PRESSWIRE

Joseph Addai has switched from one Hall of Fame QB to another. Addai signed a deal with the New England Patriots after being released in the fire sale that is the Indianapolis Colts. Drafted by the Colts in 2006, Addai has great ability to catch the ball in the backfield, giving Tom Brady another weapon at his disposal.

Another reason whey they signed him is his veteran leadership. Coach Bill Belichick knows the value of players like Addai in the locker room. He helps bring some stability and to a very green RB corps. Though Addai has had some injury problems the past few years, of all the offensive acquisitions this off-season, the signing of Addai could be one of the best.
