Randy Moss wants to return to the NFL

Last time we saw our old friend Randy Moss, he was virtually exiled from the NFL after a 2010 season in which 3 different teams gave him a chance and all 3 eventually decided that he wasn’t worth the hassle.

Earlier today, via his Ustream account, Moss announced that he wants to return to the NFL.

The biggest problem for Moss is that it takes two to tango, and there’s a great chance that he might not be able to find a team willing to pick him up.

There are plenty of teams who could use a WR in the mold of Randy Moss, including the Patriots. The problem is, despite Moss’ claims that he can still run a 4.3 forty, there aren’t a lot of people out there who think that Moss can return to his 2007 form. Or even his 2009 form, for that matter.

Even if he is in peak physical condition and all of his skills are still there, how long before Moss becomes disinterested and starts taking plays off?

The Randy Moss Experiment was fun while it lasted, but don’t hold your breath on a triumphant return.
