Patriots QB Tom Brady was back at practice today after sitting out of yesterday’s practice with a left shoulder injury. Practice was held outside in light shoulder pads. Brady is still listed on the injury report as having the left shoulder injury, but he had full participation in practice. While Brady did not participate in the physical practice with the rest of the team yesterday, he didn’t take the day off.
“You just try to do other things to get yourself ready to go,” Brady said in his news conference earlier today. “So catch up on your film work and get some extra treatments and so forth. It’s just a matter of ultimately we’re trying to be as prepared as we can for Sunday. I’m certainly going to be as prepared as I possibly can be.”
Brady also indicated that sitting out from practice wasn’t his decision.
“When Coach [Belichick] feels its best that you do other things to get yourself ready, that’s what you do and you still use all that time very wisely,” Brady added. “You don’t go lounging around taking naps or anything like that. You’re just putting in extra work and making sure you’re getting prepared. I will be out there today; you guys don’t have to worry about that. ”
If you were sweating about Brady, Patriots fans, fear not. Have no doubt that #12 will be under center Sunday and firing on all cylinders against the Baltimore Ravens.
