Thursday Night Football Game Picks: Texans at Colts

The Houston Texans travel to Indianapolis to play the Colts tonight on the latest edition of Thursday Night Football on NFL Network. The Texans (10-4) are coming off a loss to the Carolina Panthers and are trying to remain in the hunt for the #1 seed in the AFC playoffs. The Colts (1-13) are coming off their first win of the season and are looking to end the season on a winning streak (if they don’t want Andrew Luck). If you’re a Patriots fan, you should be rooting for the Colts tonight as another Texans loss would put further distance between the Pats and one of their competitors for the #1 seed in the playoffs.

Who do Ryan and I like to win tonight?

Ryan and I both like the Indianapolis Colts to win their second straight game. Rookie QB T.J. Yates will be looking to bounce back after a short week from struggling against the Panthers. If this game was on Sunday  and not Thursday, I’d go with the Texans, who would have more time to correct mistakes and bounce back. On these Thursday night games, momentum from Sunday seems to carry over and the Colts clearly have the momentum, not to mention the fact that they are playing their final home game of the season.

Will we be right? Tune in tonight to find out!
