Patriots-Broncos Staying on CBS

After delaying their decision 24-hours, the NFL has decided not to flex any games Week 15, so the Patriots-Broncos game will remain on CBS at 4:15 p.m. ET and the Sunday Night Football game will remain Ravens-Chargers. I think the decision is a mistake and doesn’t put the marquee game in a prime-time spot. Some say that Patriots owner Robert Kraft had a hand in the decision. He has a business relationship with CBS (the CBS Scene restaurant is in Patriot Place) and the Pats would be at a competitive disadvantage having to travel from Denver back to the east coast on a short week (they play the Dolphins the following Saturday).

Mike Reiss of ESPN Boston has some interesting thoughts on the decision, which you can read HERE, and Ian Rapoport of the Boston Herald calls the decision a Kraft victory, and you can read that HERE.
