Wide receiver Chad Ochocinco missed his first practice since joining the Patriots with a hamstring injury on Friday. He is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game with the Eagles. This is a little strange has he has practiced fully this week until today and had not shown any signs of an injury. A thought from me is that Ochocinco could actually be inactive on Sunday, not because of an injury, but because of his lack of production. Adding him to the injury report could be a cover up for what actually is taking place. That would not be uncharacteristic of Bill Belichick, so it wouldn’t surprise me.
Also, on the injury report were linebackers Dane Fletcher and Brandon Spikes. Both are out for the game on Sunday. They also list 11 players as questionable including Ochocinco and Price. Other notables listed as questionable are Deion Branch (hip), Patrick Chung (foot), James Ihedigbo (shoulder), Matt Light (ankle), Devin McCourty (shoulder), Gary Guyton (shoulder), Matthew Slater (shoulder), Sebastian Vollmer (back). Brian Waters and Wes Welker are both listed as probable with knee injuries.
The Eagles have a few of their bigger names not likely to play on Sunday. Nnamdi Asomugha and Michael Vick did not practice on Friday and are listed as questionable, but it has been rumored that both will not be able to play. Wide receiver DeSean Jackson is probable with a foot injury.
