Fletcher Ruled Out, Dowling Doubtful vs Steelers

The Patriots have ruled LB Dane Fletcher out for Sunday’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. CB Ras-I Dowling is doubtful after missing two days of practice. His likely absence is magnified with Leigh Bodden no longer on the team. The Steelers are a little worse for ware, with LB James Harrison, OT Chris Hoke, G Doug Legursky, and LB Jason Worilds all out for the game. WR Hines Ward is questionable for the game, though a report on NFL.com says that Ward is “unlikely” to play.
