Patriots Missing Several Players From Practice

The Patriots released their first injury report of the week in preparation for the big rivalry game against the New York Jets this Sunday, and there were several players who did not participate in practice. Among those who did not participate were familiar names to the injury report: DL Albert Haynesworth (back), TE Aaron Hernandez (knee), OT Sebastian Vollmer (back), and DL Mike Wright (concussion). New to the “Did Not Participate” designation were WR Julian Edelman (ankle), LB Jerod Mayo (knee), and RB Danny Woodhead (ankle). That’s certainly a hefty load of players who could potentially miss Sunday’s game, so the injury reports will have to be closely monitored throughout the week.

Here is the rest of the injury report, including the Jets’ injury report:

  • CB Kyle Arrington (chest)
  •  S Josh Barrett (thumb/hamstring)
