Poll: Should the Patriots Go Back to the 3-4 Defense?

As I mentioned on Tuesday, the Patriots’ porous defense has been, and continues to be, a hot topic. Former Patriot and current ESPN analyst Tedy Bruschi said that the Pats have the league’s worst defense yesterday. Eric Mangini, who is also now an ESPN analyst, thinks that defense will improve, but the Pats needs to mix their coverages instead of playing almost strictly man-to-man and add some more blitz packages to create pressure. He noted that the Patriots, for really the first time in 11 years, are running exclusively a 4-3 defense and it will take time to work out the kinks and become comfortable with it. On the flip side, ESPN Boston’s Mike Reiss thinks that the Patriots could be switching back to the 3-4 defense.

What do you think? Vote in the poll below!

Should the Patriots keep the 4-3 defense or return to their 3-4 defense?
