Patriots Release Injury Report

The first injury report of Week 2 of the NFL regular season for the Patriots brings some good news and some bad news. The good news is that there are less players on the injury report this week and RT Sebastian VOllmer returned to participate in practice. The bad news, aside from the already-known Dan Koppen injury, is that CB Leigh Bodden and DL Mike Wright did not participate in practice. Wright’s injury is especially concerning, because he is listed as having a concussion. He missed the last seven games of the season last year due to a concussion, so an early recurrence is not a good sign. As much as I like Mike Wright, I’d hate to see him get permanently hurt by coming back to play again if he’s got concussion issues. Wright has to think about life after football with an injury like this, though I hope that somehow it is not serious.
