Former Patriots corner back Ty Law will be honored at the 10th annual “The Tradition” event at The Sports Museum in Boston. The annual event honors Boston sports legends, and Ty Law will be honored with the Football Legacy Award. Reportedly, Robert Kraft will be on-hand to honor Law. Ty Law was drafted by New England in the first round of the 1995 NFL Draft out of Michigan. He played 9 seasons with the Patriots, garnering 35 interceptions, good for second all-time on the team behind Ray Clayborn. He owns the franchise record for 6 interceptions returned for touchdowns, none bigger than the one he returned in the Patriots’ first Super Bowl victory against the Rams. Law was also voted to four Pro Bowls as a Patriot.
The event will be on June 28 on the 5th and 6th levels of the TD Garden. Tickets can be purchased HERE for the event. Other honorees include Larry Bird and Mike Lowell.
