Patriots’ Meriweather Releases a Rap Song

This is kind of old news from a month or two ago, but it kind of slipped through the cracks and it’s too good to let pass by. New England Patriots safety Brandon Meriweather released his first rap song off of an upcoming rap album. He debuted it on the Toucher and Rich Show on 98.5 The Sports Hub, a show that has reveled in making Meriweather a punchline. Of course, with a hat like the one he wore after a game with the raccoon tail, he kind of invites it on himself. From what I understand he’s a good sport about it all, using Toucher and Rich to debut his rap song.

You can hear the rap song by clicking HERE. Meriweather is the first rapper in the song (not the first singer). You can make out his lisp somewhat, just in case you’re not sure if it’s him. With the release of this song, it’s the perfect excuse to post the parody song, “Big Bang Clock” which cuts up a Meriweather press conference and puts it to music. That’s a Toucher and Rich original. Check it out after the jump.

Here is Brandon Meriweather’s original press conference, which came after the Pats’ London trip to play the Buccaneers in 2009.

And here is the infamous song, “The Big Bang Clock.”
