Brady Leads Patriots Workouts

Patriots QB Tom Brady is in town for his Best Buddies charity events, and is also taking advantage of the opportunity to organize and run nearly full-team workouts. He held his first workout earlier today at Boston College Alumni Stadium, and anywhere from 40-50 players were in attendance. LB Jerod Mayo had been running workouts centered mostly on conditioning with fewer attendees, but this workout reportedly included football-specific drills. The Pats ran 11-on-11 drills and split into individual group work. Brady led the offensive drills, which you can bet included working on timing with the wide receivers, while Vince Wilfork ran the defensive drills.

Brady had received some minor criticism for not attending any players-only workouts, but apparently he had something bigger in the works. He had been working out at his home in California while recovering from offseason foot surgery. Most of the starters from last season were said to be in attendance, but here is a partial list of players that have been confirmed or rumored to be at the Brady workout:
