When the New England Patriots drafted QB Ryan Mallett, much of the talk centered on whether Mallett was the heir apparent in New England once Tom Brady retires. One player that has been neglected in the discussions has been Brady’s current back-up QB, Brian Hoyer. One group of fans have certainly not forgotten about Hoyer: those from his alma mater, Michigan State.
