Woodhead Still Alive for Madden ’12 Cover Boy

Danny Woodhead, Madden '12 Cover Boy?

EA Sports, the makers of the popular Madden football video game franchise, has been running a tournament decided by fan votes to see who will grace the cover of Madden 2012. Somewhat surprisingly, Patriots RB Danny Woodhead was not only nominated, but has defeated his first two opponents to advance to Round Three of the tournament. In Round One, Woodhead defeated Bills WR Steve Johnson 62%-38%. In Round Two, which ran last week, Woodhead defeated Giants WR Hakeem Nicks 57%-43%. Woodhead faces his stiffest challenge thus far in Round Three as he is matched up against Packers QB and Super Bowl MVP Aaron Rodgers. This could be the end of the road for Danny Woodhead, but it doesn’t have to be. Like the previous rounds, who advances is based solely on fan votes, so let’s support Danny Woodhead!
