Danny Woodhead, Madden '11 Cover Boy?

Woodhead on the Cover of Madden ’12?

Patriots cult hero and mini-running back extraordinaire Danny Woodhead is in the running for quite an honor. It’s not MVP or the Pro Bowl (obviously), but to make it on the cover of upcoming edition of Madden. Madden ’12 is having a voting contest where fans get to pick who will grace the cover of Madden ’12. Players are pitted against each other tournament bracket style and we the fans get to pick the winner. Woodhead has already made it to Round Two after defeating Buffalo Bills receiver Steve Johnson with 62% of the vote (ouch!). He is now up against Giants WR Hakeem Nicks. To vote for Danny Woodhead (or Nicks if you want to be like that) click here. Let’s step it up and support Danny Woodhead against a New York player! Voting ends April 3rd.

Good catch on the 2011. It has been edited. If you look at who the nominees are, it’s not the best player from every team. For example, Woodhead is up against Hakeem Nicks. He’s hardly the best player on the Giants. I think Woodhead’s got a decent shot, though it will probably go to Aaron Rodgers.
