Jets Still Alive in the East

The New York Jets defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers today 22-17, keeping them alive in the hunt for the AFC East crown. The Patriots will have to win tonight and next week to clinch the AFC East title. On the plus side, they can also clinch home-field advantage throughout the playoffs if they win tonight and next week. In other AFC playoff news, the Baltimore Ravens are still alive to get a bye week and win their division by virtue of their win over the Saints today and those pesky Colts are still alive to not only make the playoffs but win the AFC South. If they win out, they win their division, and with a soft remaining schedule, chances are they will do just that. If they do win their division and the Pats win the AFC East, we will be treated to another Patriots-Colts regular season game next year.
