Gronkowski and Brady Nominated for Weekly Awards

Two Patriots have been nominated for weekly honors by the NFL for their play during Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears. First, rookie TE Rob Gronkowski has been nominated for the Pepsi Rookie of the Week. Gronk had 5 catches for 43 yards and a diving touchdown. Gronk’s touchdown came off of the coverage of Brian Urlacher for New England’s first score of the game. You can vote for Rob Gronkowski by clicking here. Nominated for the FedEx Air Player of the Week for the third week in a row is QB Tom Brady. Brady completed 27 out of 40 passes for 369 yards and 2 touchdowns in blustery conditions on Soldier Field.
