State of the Patriots

My latest column for NFL Blog Blitz has been posted, and in it I discuss the state of the Patriots after a brutal four-game stretch. Recall that four weeks ago, I wrote about how crucial the four-game stretch of Steelers, Colts, Lions, and Jets was to the Pats’ postseason hopes. The Patriots certainly passed those tough tests. Here is an excerpt from the article:

Four weeks ago, I thought 2-2 was a reasonable record to expect out of those four games, with 3-1 being highly optimistic and 4-0 a pipe dream. However, the Patriots not only came out of those critical four games 4-0 (10-2 overall), but they won those games by dominating their opponents.
