The following players will not be suiting up for the Patriots today: RB Fred Taylor, G Stephen Neal, CB Jonathon Wilhite, WR Taylor Price, S Jarrad Page, OL Mark LeVoir, DL Myron Pryor, and G Rich Ohrenberger. With Wilhite not playing, the Pats will only be suiting up three corners, which could prove to be a fatal blow to the team going up against Peyton Manning and the Colt offense. They will be forced to use their safeties in their sub packages against the pass.
As far as the Colts are concerned they will be without the following players: S Bob Sanders, RB Joseph Addai, RB Mike Hart, LB Clint Session, LB Gary Brackett, CB Justin Tryon, G Jaime Thomas, and DT Ricardo Matthews. The loss of Session and Brackett should help the Pats put up some points while the loss of Addai and Hart hurts the Colts’ running game.
Despite both teams being without some key players, both quarterbacks are good at being successful with whatever players are on the field. This game could quickly turn into a shoot-out with the team that has the ball last winning. Anyone expecting a 4th & short call today?
