Pats Make Two Trades So Far

The Patriots have reportedly traded for Kansas City Chiefs S Jarrad Page for a conditional draft pick. Page was a disgruntled restricted free agent who just recently signed his tender. This is not the “big” move I was anticipating but it is significant. The final cuts list has yet to be released from the Pats so this leaves me to wonder what the future of James Sanders and/or Brandon McGowan is. Sanders, in particular, has been mentioned as being a trade or cut possibility. The Patriots have also reportedly traded a conditional draft pick with the Philadelphia Eagles for LB Tracy White. I’m not sure exactly where White fits into the defense because at first glance he appears small (6’0″, 239 lbs) to play outside linebacker, the area of most need. He is likely more of a special teams player at this point (like the team needs more of those guys). Stay tuned because there’s more likely to come…
