For Week 2, the Patriots’ two rookie tight ends, Rob Gronkowski (2nd-round pick) and Aaron Hernandez (4th-round pick), were named Top Rookie Performers. The two tight ends shined against the Atlanta Falcons, each hauling in 4 passes and scoring a touchdown. Gronkowski grabbed 4 passes for 38 yards and a score while Hernandez hauled in 4 passes for 46 yards and a score.
