Tom Brady is still making the interview rounds promoting a charitable cause, Best Buddies, and answering questions about his life both in an out of football. Wednesday morning he was on the Dennis and Callahan show on WEEI Sports Talk Radio and answered a slew of questions ranging from fatherhood and its effects on his commitment to football, to Wes Welker, to the locker room and his current (and former) teammates. You can listen to the full interview by clicking here. He didn’t really say anything that he didn’t say in his Peter King interview, though he did elaborate more on the team’s mentality last season. As suspected and discussed at length this offseason, the locker room chemistry wasn’t there and enough of the team was not mentally into the games that it cost them wins. He also took himself to task for not being a better leader and is looking to improve his leadership this season. Albert Breer from the Boston Globe has a great synopsis if you don’t want to listen to the full interview, which you can read by clicking here, and Mike Reiss from ESPNBoston.com pulls out what he feels are notable remarks, and you can read that by clicking here.
