Pats trade back again

The New England Patriots have traded back once again. They traded their #47 overall pick to the Arizona Cardinals for the Cards’ pick at #58 in Round Two and the Cardinals’ third-rounder, #89 overall. The Cardinals selected Daryl Washington, LB TCU. Value-wise the Pats got a good deal here but they likely will miss out on Golden Tate, likely to the Chiefs at #50. The next Pats’ pick is at #53 overall.

In the previous trade, the Pats gave up their #44 pick and their 6th round pick (190 overall) to the Raiders to move up and select TE Rob Gronkowski at #42 overall.
