“2 for 1″ Patriots/Bills – Chargers/Raiders

Do you have any of the following symptoms, sadness, aggravation, anxiety, numbness, anger, an emptiness feeling?  Are you lonely, depressed, crying or just have the post Sunday football blues?  If you’ve answered YES to, any of these symptoms.  Then you’re in luck as the NFL and ESPN have just come up with greatest possible CURE for you.  What is it?  It’s a double dose of more FOOTBALL, which will help revive you. 

That’s correct!  Your eyes have not deceived you, as for one night and one night only.  The NFL and ESPN are joining forces to bring you another action packed, hard hitting, heart pounding “2 for 1″ night of football.  When the action kicks off at 7 PM EST in Foxboro, Massachusetts.  As the Buffalo Bills and New England Patriots open the very special “2 for 1″ evening with an AFC East showdown, at Gillette Stadium.

After the Bills/Pats game you’ll be treated to another classic.  As the San Diego Chargers take on the Oakland Raiders at 10:15 PM EST.  Yes, I know it’s the Chargers and Raiders, but it could still be a close game, right?  OK, maybe not for longer than 5 minutes.  But we can all hope and pray for it.  Especially since we all know there’s no love lost between these two clubs, as they’ve been battling each other for years in the AFC West.  

Here’s an added bonus which the NFL has decided to toss in.  In celebration of the AFL’s 50th season, the NFL has decided that throughout the 2009 regular season.  A total of 16 games will be played with teams wearing their old throwbacks.  And that my friends begins tonight as all four teams will be going “old school” as they’ll be wearing their old/original uniforms. 

Enjoy the action and don’t forget to THANK the NFL and ESPN for “curing” us.  Even if it’s only for one night.  Hey, it’s better than no football, right?  My picks for the night’s winners are  San Diego and New England!
