AUTHOR: Matt DeLucia | IN: Boston Sports, Breaking News | COMMENTS: None Yet

Everyone knows the ole sane “All good things must come to an end”, we’ve all heard it a thousand times throughout our lives.  Unfortunately for us, it now includes Tedy Bruschi and his time in the NFL.  Since it’s expected that after a wonderful 13 year career, in which he’s spent it all in a New England Patriots uniform.  Later today he will be announcing his retirement from the game.  And from the team he’s loved for so long.
Which means it will be a sad, but also joyous day for the Patriots and their fans.  As the end of an era will [...]

The Brett Favre Saga Continues, Once Again!

AUTHOR: Matt DeLucia | IN: Breaking News, Fanzone/Tailgating, General NFL, Misc. | COMMENTS: None Yet

Are you ready for this ladies and gentlemen?  You better be, because Brett Favre is back in the NFL, once again!   This entire thing is becoming so old, kinda like the Friday The 13th movies, in the 80’s and 90’s.  There just doesn’t seem to be an ending to the nightmare of horrors.  As the Brett Favre saga continues, once again!  Honestly was there anyone who didn’t see this one coming?  It’s become his pattern over the last two years, so why would anything change now.
He’s retired, then (wait a few moments) he’s not retired.  After a bunch of pouting and [...]

For those of you who might have missed the return of Tom Brady to the football field, last Thursday.  Don’t worry, thanks to the NFL Network you have another chance to catch the game, this afternoon.  As the game between the New England Patriots and Philadelphia Eagles will be replayed at 4 pm EST.  I’m sure everyone knows by now that the Patriots won the game 27-25, as they opened up their pre-season schedule.
But it doesn’t matter since you’ll have a chance to see Brady in all his glory, back on the field.  Which for fans of the Patriots, is a truly beautiful [...]

Brady’s Back Baby!

AUTHOR: Matt DeLucia | IN: Breaking News, Fanzone/Tailgating, Patriots, Patriots Pre-Season | COMMENTS: None Yet

Tom Brady aka “Mr. Terrific” aka “One of The Best QB’s Ever” or whatever else you’d like to call him, is back!  Which means the rest of the NFL better take notice now, since Brady’s Back Baby!  For myself seeing him back out on that field, standing tall in the shotgun formation.  Barking out the signals, it was just music to my ears.  As I’m sure it was for the rest of “our” fans who happened to catch the game, last night.
When the New England Patriots, opened up their 2009 pre-season schedule.  With a 27-25 victory, over the newly revamped Philadelphia Eagles.  [...]

Please Read – My Personnel Thanks & Apologies!

AUTHOR: Matt DeLucia | IN: Misc., Off-Topic/Other | COMMENTS: None Yet

I just wanted to offer my apologies for the lack of updates or articles on this site.  But my son was up at the Duke University Hospital in Raleigh NC, having another major surgery performed on him.  Not to many outside of family and friends know this information but he was born in early March, and was also a month early.  He was also born with a few medical problems, one of them being Hirschsprung’s Disease, which is the reason why he’s had two major surgeries all ready.
Unfortunately when it comes to the second condition there’s no surgery that can fix [...]
