If you’d like to see the New England Patriots and can’t make it to Gillette Stadium next season. Just pack your things and start heading on out to Colorado, so you can check out the Pats, “other” team named the “X-Patriots”! Sorry, you may know them by their actual name, the Denver Broncos. With the way the Broncos are scooping up the free agents from New England, the name fits them perfectly.
Who can we thank out there for taking OUR unwanted leftovers? That would be none other than Josh McDaniels! Another “X Patriot”who just happens to be the Broncos new head coach. Since the start of this year’s free agency period, the Broncos and McDaniels have signed a total of eleven free agents with three of them being former Patriots.
Joining him out in Denver will be WR Jabar Gaffney, LS Lonnie Paxton and their newly signed RB LaMont Jordan. OK, I understand taking one, maybe two but come on now, three players in total. Either ole Josh is feeling “homesick” or he just loves the style of players we groom in New England. Whatever the case may be I wish them the best in their new journey and good luck in the future.
While these loses will bother some fans in New England, it’s wonderful for those of you living in the Midwest area of this country. Since you’ll now only have to travel to Denver in-order to see a roster full of Patriots, well ex-Patriots I should say now. One last note with all the snow you get out there, it’ll be perfect weather for Paxton to continue making snow angels in.
