The trade between the New England Patriots and Kansas City Chiefs has the NFL world in a frenzy. It also puts the famous TV show “America’s Most Wanted” on high alert and ready to jump into action. Why you might be asking yourself? That’s easy to answer, if the Patriots just traded away two key players in Mike Vrabel and Matt Cassel in exchange for the Chiefs 2nd round pick, Bill Belichick will need protection! If he was driving force or main man in making the deal, if not he might be spared!
And he’ll need it fast, so call the FBI [...]

What QB controversy! All the talk about who’s the QB next season for the New England Patriots, has just been tossed out the window. And it happened in a flash as it was getting closer to being “officially” announced that Matt Cassel will be traded to the Kansas City Chiefs. Terms of the deal and who might be involved have not been released at this time. But the breaking news has been reported on various networks such as NFL.com, Rotoworld.com, as well as many others.
We won’t be cheering“Razzle Dazzle Matt Cassell” anymore in the stands at Gillette Stadium. That right now [...]
Here are the latest moves from around the NFL, on this the first day of a very frenzied free agency period!
The Denver Broncos have been hard at work signing just about anyone that arrives for a visit. They’ve signed RB’s Correll Buckhalter (Philadelphia) and J.J. Arrington (Cardinals) to four-year deals. Also WR Jabar Gaffney (Patriots) four-years at $10 million, plus S Renaldo Hill (Dolphins) another four-years at $10 million. They also grabbed LS Lonnie Paxton (Patriots) at five-years for $5.14 million.
It’s been quite a busy day for the Broncos and their fans. It’ll be interesting to see if they have anything left [...]
I’m still working on the details involving the “major announcement” the New England Patriots were suppose to be making this evening. At first it was to believed that Matt Cassel was headed to the Kansas City Chiefs. But hold on could Cassel be the newest Chief, or Buccaneer? It’s rumored that Cassel might be involved in the deal with Mike Vrabel going to KC. But WAIT, it could be that he’s headed to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers possibly in a three team deal involving the Pats, Chiefs and Bucs!
This new deal is rumored to involve the Bucs, 1st round draft pick [...]
There might be more than meets the eye to the deal between the New England Patriots and the Kansas City Chiefs, then we know about at this time. We do know that Mike Vrabel is headed to KC, supposedly for an undisclosed draft pick. Who or what else might be included, may not be known until later this evening.
Sources out of New England, have it pegged that’s there’s a “major announcement” involving this KC-NE trade coming at 6 pm EST tonight. Does the deal include quarterback Matt Cassel going to KC along with Vrabel? KC sending a player and possibly [...]
Well I just learned a very important lesson, never nap on the NFL’s first day of free agency! The world will pass you by, and you’ll miss so much after only taking a short two hour nap. That’s how I was feeling when I woke up this afternoon and turned on the NFL Network, to catch up on today’s happening. So let play some catch up and get everyone up to date on latest happenings!
LATEST NEWS FROM DAY 1 OF FREE AGENCY:
NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS: Have signed both RB Fred Taylor (sorry Buffalo) from the Jaguars, and TE Chris Baker from [...]
The NFL’s free agency period kicked off at midnight last night, and all 32 teams have are off and racing. With each team trying to get the early advantage on the competition, and scoop up the talent quickly. The front runner so far would be the Washington Redskins as they have signed defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth to a seven-year $100 million dollar deal. And that’s after they resigned cornerback DeAngelo Hall to a six-year $54 million deal just a few hours before they snagged Haynesworth.
So what’s next now that the league’s best free agent and most wanted man is off [...]
I just wanted to take a few moments and comment on an interesting story I came upon. It’s been announced that NFL commissioner Roger Goodell is taking a pay-cut. With the economy’s outlook becoming bleaker with each passing day. Seeing someone in his position taking a stand and lowering his salary is a welcoming sign.
Goodell was scheduled to make $11 million for this past season from both salary and bonuses. He volunteered to take a twenty percent pay reduction. Initially when you read or hear he’s taking a twenty percent cut you think “Wow I’m Impressed,” until you do the math! And realize [...]
With the NFL’s free agency period just around the corner waiting to start. Actually it’s this coming Friday when it kicks off. The rumors will start to run rampart! As if they haven’t done that already. With a shortage of deceit, good and proven running backs on the open market this year. The pickings are going to be slim, really slim.
The first major rumor has the fans of the New England Patriots and Buffalo Bills listening very closely. What is it? It’s that Fred Taylor formerly of the Jacksonville Jaguars will be paying a visit to each club. He has [...]
