The Next VP?

The search is on for the New England Patriots.  Not in just one area but two now, the Patriots are looking for replacements for a new Offensive Coordinator.  And now also for a VP of Player Personnel, with the departures of Josh McDaniels and Scott Pioli.  For the Patriots the next VP, could be sitting within the organization right now.

Who’s the front runner?  It’s Nick Caserio at the moment.  Who’s Nick Caserio you might be asking?  He’s 32 years old, an Ohio native and also a graduate of John Carroll.  Oh and he just happens to be the current director of player personnel for New England.

He also has a football background from a player’s perspective.  Being a four year starter at quarterback for John Carroll.  Where he was teammates with McDaniels and London Fletcher, currently with the Washington Redskins

Who ever takes the new role as VP of player personnel, will have their hands full.  Replacing a person in the likes of Pioli, will not be easy.  The Patriots aren’t expected to take much time in announcing the new VP.  A decision should be made within a week or so.  That would be one spot filled, and another to go still.  The ole wait and see game has begun, sit back and enjoy the ride.

    Thanks for Pioli!

    Zach;

    Hey no problem, anytime.  Pioli will make it up to us in NE really soon.  In the likes of LJ or draft picks for Cassel.
