And No, I Am Not One Of Those Drooling “Tom Brady” Girls!

Tom Brady - bostonherald.comCongratulations to Kathy C, from Massachusetts.  Kathy is the first of two winners from the “Who Is Your Favorite Patriot Player”contest.  No only is she a loyal fan of the greatest football team ever, the New England Patriots.  She’s also a fan of the Boston Red Sox and Boston Celtics.  When you grow up in this area of the country it’s hard not to fall in love with these teams and their history.  And we have been greatly rewarded over the past few years.  Thanks in part to the Super Bowl titles, the World Series and NBA Championships that have been brought home, to Boston and their fans.  So without further adieu here is Kathy’s winning submission.

Dear MusketFire;

Well for obvious reasons this isn’t a hard one: Tom Brady.  And no, I am not one of those drooling “Tom Brady” girls!  But seriously, three time Super Bowl champ, two time Super Bowl MVP, and 2007 NFL MVP for setting  the record for most touchdowns.  I could go on and on.  And in spite of these incredible accomplishments I think his ability to lead the team is what has really earned him the title of my Favorite Player.  I know I speak for all the Pats fans out there wishing tom a speedy recovery and we all hope he’ll be back on the field next season.

Great article Kathy!  Again congratulations and I hope you enjoy your winnings.  In know the Patriots season ended earlier than we would of hoped for.  But look at the horizon.  Do you see it?  It’s the Red Sox getting ready to open up spring training in about five weeks.  So, enjoy the Red Sox this year and let’s hope Brady is ready to go for us in 2009.
