In a little over twenty-four hours from now, the National Football League will be crowning a new champion. Who’s it going to be? That depends on Sunday and who wants it more. So it’s either the Pittsburgh Steelers or the Arizona Cardinals who will be hoisting the Lombardi trophy.
Now if you go by most of the chatter on the Internet, the Cardinals should be winners. As they are the fan favorite from the majority of polls seen on the net. And why shouldn’t they be, everyone loves a Cinderella team. But the talk on the networks (ESPN, CBS, and Fox) is all Pittsburgh.
And they [...]

The question on will they do it has been answered. Yes, they will franchise Cassel, unless a new twist occurs with Tom Brady and the [...]

Well folks it’s time to pat yourself on the back and say “congratulations”. Why you might be asking? That answer is easy. We just survived the longest weekend of the NFL schedule. The dreaded “lost weekend” that we have become accustomed to calling it. A weekend without football, it’s just down right wrong.
For the first time in close to six months the woman around the world are rejoicing. For their men no longer had “honey the game’s on” or “I have to watch my fantasy players in action” as an excuse. Every true football fan has used that, or any other [...]

Congratulations to William G, from Massachusetts. William is the final winner from the “Who Is Your Favorite Patriots Player”contest. The recently married William not only is a huge fan of the NFL’s greatest team, the New England Patriots. But of all Boston teams, that includes the Red Sox, Celtics and of course the Bruins.
Here is William’s entry below:
Dear MusketFire,
If you had to choose right now for who would be the New England Patriots favorite player of all time. Everyone, including myself would easily say it’s “Tom Brady”. Yes, Brady is amazing, but let us remember those players who wore the red and [...]
Renaming The Super Bowl!
Everyone knows the biggest sports event in the world. It’s the Super Bowl! Hands down the most watched sporting event throughout the world. Millions upon millions tune into the NFL’s biggest game each year. For some it’s for their love of the game, others it’s just simply to see the high priced commercials.
No matter what the reason is, people just watch and enjoy it. And at the end of the championship games today, we just might be renaming the Super Bowl. If both the Pittsburgh Steelers and Philadelphia Eagles walk away victorious, the renaming will begin. Here a few things [...]
At the conclusion of the New England Patriots season this year, I had high hopes and expectations. NO, I’m not talking about the 2009 NFL draft. When I say I had high hopes, I’m referring to the Patriots schedule for next season. Every season you rotate which division you play. Next year in the 2009 season they take on the NFC South. Which means they play the likes of Tampa Bay, Carolina, Atlanta and the New Orleans Saints.
Now as a Patriots fan who no longer lives in the New England area. I was very excited, since I live in North Carolina now. [...]
