It’s all good in New England at the half. The New England Patriots are well in front with a 31-0 over the Arizona Cardinals. The Patriots have dominated the game from the beginning. Arizona is having all kinds of trouble with the snowy field conditions. they can’t run, or even worse can’t pass the ball. Arizona has less than 75 total yards of offense in the game. Matt Cassel is in rare form, throwing for 192 yards and two scores. He connected with Kevin Faulk and Wes Welker for scores in the first half. The Patriots who are use to playing in these type of conditions are easily moving the ball on the ground. With Sammy Morris pounding it out and LaMont Jordan who’s already scored twice on the ground.
And the weather isn’t going to get any better in the second half either. The field is starting to freeze, and the safety of their players needs to come into play. With the Patriots just adding another score on their first possession in the second half. A nice Cassel to Randy Moss 76 yard pass play. Actually it was only like a 10 yard play but Moss busted it open, and dashed quickly into the open secondary to pay dirt. It’s time to pull the starters and rest them, protect them, and get the back-ups in. We still need to win next weekend in Buffalo, and need the Ravens to lose for the wild-card spot. Enjoy the second half, and let’s pray one of our starter’s don’t get hurt in these conditions. So we can gift wrap this game now, it’s over and another victory for the Patriots.
