No Help Early On!

The New England Patriots needed some help from the early games and they got squat.  Thanks to the stupidity of the Buffalo Bills offensive coordinator Turk Schonert.  Turk, you have the lead late in the fourth quarter and you decide to have your quarterback pass the ball.  You moron, bad things happen when you try and get greedy.  And they did for you, you QB gets taken down and fumbles the ball.  And we get absolutely no help early on.  The New York Jets recover and take it in for a defensive score and win the game.  Shaun Ellis recovers and runs 11 yards to pay dirt, and saves the day for the Jets.  The final score Jets 31 Buffalo 27.

We also had hopes late in the game between the San Francisco 49ers and the Miami Dolphins.  But they were dashed again, thanks in part to the Dolphins stellar defense and the lack of offense on the 49ers part.  San Francisco just could not get into the end zone today, having to settle for three field goals from Joe Nedney.  Miami sealed the win on a fourth down sack from Joey Porter.  Porter now raises his season total to 17 1/2 sacks on the season.

So as the Patriots game gets set to kickoff, we know what we need to do.  Just win baby, it’s that easy.  A win and we are still alive for a wild-card spot, and the AFC East.  A loss and we can pack up the season, as our playoff hopes are over.

All I can say is welcome to our world.  If you have to rely on a Buffalo win for you to get in the playoffs, you might want to consider following another sport when the NFL regular season is over.  We have been pulling our hair out for nine years now waiting for them to win and get into the playoffs.

It serves you right trying to rely on Buffalo to win.  I have to agree with you though, I do not know how much is Schonert’s fault though – Jauron said this one was all on him, so that was either Jauron covering for Schonert, or Jauron trying to play offensive coordinator at the same time trying to play head coach.

That’s true I should of known better than to believe the Bills could help us out.  It sounds fishy to me, I’m thinking it’s Jauron covering for Schonert’s big FUBAR mistake.  Either way one or both of them need to go.  Time for the Bills to start fresh and become contenders again, like in the past!
