Patriots Fantasy Recap!

Welcome to this week’s edition of Patriots fantasy recap for week 7 of the NFL season.  Riding high after a huge upset victory 41-7 over the Denver Broncos on Monday night football.  Let’s keep this momentum moving forward for this weekend’s contest with the visiting St. Louis Rams.

Week 7 stats for the New England Patriots:

PASSING:  Matt Cassel – 18 of 24 for 185 yds – 3 Touchdowns

RUSHING:  Sammy Morris 16 for 138 yds  1 TD - BenJarvus Green-Ellis 13 for 65 yds  1 TD – Kevin Faulk 4 for 50 yds – Heath Evans 1 for 3 yds – Matt Cassel 4 for 1 yard.

RECIEVING:  Randy Moss 5 for 69 yds 2 TD’s – Wes Welker 6 for 63 yds 1 TD – Ben Watson 3 for 40 yds – Sam Aiken 1 for 7 yds – Kevin Faulk 3 for 6 yds.

DEFENSE:  7 pts allowed – 3 Sacks – 2 Interceptions – 3 Fumble Recoveries

The Patriots put on a great performance vs the Broncos.  We need to stay focused and continue to prepare and get the game plan in motion for this week’s contest with the suddenly very hot Rams coming into Foxboro.  The Rams are coming off back to back victories over both the Washington Redskins and the suddenly deflated Dallas Cowboys.  A victory for New England this weekend combined with a Buffalo Bills loss  will place both teams a top of the AFC East.  So let’s root on the Pats and cheer for the Miami Dolphins to upset the Bills!

I don’t think anyone would’ve predicted the fantasy week that the Pats had. Ouch!

Kim your very correct on that line.  I thought the offense might have a good night going up with the Broncos defense.  But the Pats defense just amazed and totally shocked me with their performance.  Hey with the team’s struggles this year I’m just happy we had a week like this.  Who knows what this coming week will bring fantasy wise for us.

Matt Awesome site and what a Win!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for coming by and checking out the site.  It was a great win today for the Pats and all of us who call our selves fans.  Cassel looked good, NOT GREAT, but good.  He just needs to learn and improve each week and I’m sure he’ll be fine.  Our O-Line looked great today.  Just protect Cassel and allow him time to hit Moss and Welker down the field.  Let’s enjoy this win for a few days, then turn our attention to Indy and the hated Colts!
