All New England In The First Half!

What a way to to start the game, it’s been all New England in the first half.  The New England Patriots have come out and just dominated the entire first 30 minutes of this game.  The Denver Broncos are in trouble and need to find a way to stop the Patriots offense.  Yes you read that correctly, the Patriots offense has just had their way Denver for the game so far.  Matt Cassel with the exception of being sacked five times has found a groove early in this contest.  With touchdowns by Sammy Morris and Randy Moss hauling in his third of the season.  Sammy Morris has already rushed for 138 yards in the game with one rushing touchdown under his belt already.

The Broncos quarterback Jay Cutler was hit on the game’s opening play and at the half’s end was replaced by backup quarterback Patrick Ramsey.  The Broncos offense has not helped them selves by turning the ball over four times in the first half.  With two turnovers by Andre Hall, an interception of Cutler by Brandon Meriweather and another Ramsey fumble late in the second quarter.  You mix in the turnovers with the dumb penalties the Broncos have had called on them and they have dug themselves a pretty deep hole early on.  The Patriots need to continue their offensive dominance and put away the Broncos early in the third with another touchdown score to close this game out.  More to come after the game so enjoy the second half and remember let’s go Patriots.
