Nice start for Cassel!

Way to go New England Patriots. Nice start for Cassel in his first NFL start of his young career. Matt Cassel starts things off with a nice AFC East Division win over the New York Jets.  Cassel completes 16 of 23 passes for 165 yards, no touchdowns, but more important no interceptions vs the Jets. Tune in Monday for the full Patriots recap from week 2.

Cassel did ok yesterday, no turnovers is a good start. Hopefully as he gets more comfortable those longs plays to Randy Moss will start to click.

Good to see you have the site up and running Matt

Thanks for checking the site out and remember to come on back. Cassel did what was needed of him on Sunday. He went out there did his job as close to perfect. I’m sure once he gets more comfortable with the offense he’ll be connecting to Moss on the nice long touchdown passes we are use to seeing. This week with the Dolphins coming into town, works for me. Look for Moss to have at least one TD catch this week.
